Mark,
You are so right in regards to “how to dress”. I have been in sales for most of my life and when I train new sales people, they think they have to get dressed like their going to a wedding. I always tell them, do not try to out-dress the person that you are trying to sell. That person already has invisible walls around them and you cannot make that sale until you lower those walls. When a person feels out-dressed, they feel inferior. When you are dressed more like them, that person is more comfortable and in turn, those walls come will down. Dress to the situation. If you addressing a group of professionals, dress like them. If you are having a one on one with a mom & pop owner, dress more like them. I think a sales job is like being a candidate except that the product is “you” and your message. Mark, I would like to thank you for your updates! They will come in handy in the near future.

Thanks for the post Casey. Great example and I think you’re right on the money. At the end of the day campaigns — and about 90% of life — are sales. Some people hate to admit that, but it’s true. Appreciate your comment and your compliment.
